Children up to 3 years: free (1 per room). Children up to 7 years pay 30% of the room price. Children from the age of 7 are considerate as adults. A child of 4 and a child of 5 within the same family is also considerated as one adult.

You can pay with  Reais (R$) or Euro or Dollar, which, by preference, you already have with you because it's not always possible to get money out of the cash machines on the island. You can't pay by debit or credit card.

Cancellation of paid booking

A booking, confirmed by payment, can be cancelled up to 3 weeks before the fixed date of stay. The paid amount won't be paid back but there will be given a credit for later use, except for the high season and within 6 months following the day of cancellation. A cancellation can't be done when it's asked during the last 3 weeks before the fixed date of stay. In this case, the pousada keeper possesses the money to cover the costs caused by too short a time to be able to rent the room to someone else.
